Future Alam Borneo (FAB) is a not-for-profit, environment focused society based in Sandakan. It was founded in early 2014 by Anton & Linn (owenrs of Paganakan Dii & NAK Hotel), Jaswinder (LEAP), CK Teo (Inspirasi Borneo), Wong Siew Te (Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre), Jonathan Cheng (Kinabatangan Wetlands Resort), John Lim (Archilles Group), Nicholas Tan (AsiaEuro) & Jason Tan (The Last Frontier Resort).

The Society seeks to create opportunities, connections and platforms to showcase Sabah Borneo’s ecological potential to a broad audience, through music, sports, art, design, architecture and more.

FAB is currently focusing on 3 core areas which are wildlife & habitat education through the annual Borneo Rhythms of Rimba (ROR) Wildlife Festival platform, children’s books and public art & design projects (specifically focusing on Sandakan at the moment).

In collaboration with Gwen Hew & illustrator Evi Shelvia, FAB contributed to the research for the illustrated children’s book The Wild Treehouse of Borneo which comes out in Apr 2015.

Paganakan Dii is passionate about environmental activism and education, and more so when young people drive such endeavours. Annually we support a variety of causes financially and in kind, from educational workshops for children to art projects by local artists.

If there is something Sabahan and Environment, we would love to know about it and help out where we can!
